Send Files

In order to send files to our ftp site you need to have an application that supports File Transfer
Protocol (ftp).We have found that Fetch works well on the Mac and it can be down loaded from their web
site at: http://www.dartmouth.edu/pages/softdev/fetch.html supports Macintosh drop and drag this
makes file transfers as easy as copying files from your computer to ours.

Ifyou are working on a pc SmartFTP is a free down load from zd.net.
You may have to contact your systems manager or your internet provider to help with your set up.
From the Mac using fetch open the new connection window,type the host name as it appears in fig 1
Enter your user name and your password.

For small files such as missing fonts replacement pages etc.these files can be emailed to
cdprepress@colordynamics.com

Remember no matter what you send or how you send it your files should be compressed to ensure
problem free file transfer.
