ColorDynamics Awarded 2003 Silver Management Award

Allen, TX, February 2004 -- ColorDynamics has received a Silver Award for Management Excellence in the National Association for Printing Leadership's (NAPL) 2003 Management Plus Awards Program. Sponsored by NAPL, American Printer magazine, Compass Capital Partners, and MAN Roland, the awards are based on a company's management performance as compared to professional and industry standards.

Charles Chalifoux, company president, will accept the award at a special banquet on February 26, 2004 during the NAPL Top Management Conference in Naples, Florida. NAPL is a not-for-profit trade association representing the $86 billion commercial printing industry.

Only 9 companies were chosen for Silver Awards from the industry firms that participated in the competition, which is open to all graphic arts organizations.

ColorDynamics was cited for its superior financial record, its emphasis on employee participation in management, and its consistency in producing quality printing. "Being selected as one of the industry's best managed graphic arts companies is a tremendous honor," says Charles Chalifoux," and our entire staff deservedly shares in the credit."

NAPL's Management Plus, unlike other graphic arts competitions, is not solely judged on printed pieces, but asks the company to conduct an analysis of specific areas of their operations. In that way, the program becomes a diagnostic tool that printing company leaders can use to judge their own management performances against accepted industry standards. The standards are financial performance, marketing/sales plan, business planning, human resources, environmental safety concerns, quality control, community/industry affairs and vendor relations.

ColorDynamics is an independent full service commercial printer meeting the needs of Dallas-based and national clientele in the design, advertising and corporate communities. Recognized in the Southwest as a leader in providing diverse services including digital prepress, sheetfed through 8-color double roll web presses with in-line finishing, bindery services, packaging products, ink jet mailing, tabbing, order and inventory management, kitting, fulfillment and distribution.
